Performance mods for street or track? There was a calculation some where in the forum suggesting that it costs about 1k$/track day. So go do 20 track days

Wow, lots of opinions on what to do. Thanks for the suggestions, I think I'm going to spend (some of) the money tracking it since that's where I'm going to have the most fun, and then maybe mod some things as I feel it needs them, most likely BBK. I tend to agree that SC is probably the most "fun" mod, but also will change the attitude of the car the most, and I am happy with the power it has, especially considering I rarely am at WOT - it's my DD.
Btw, I notice a couple people got real testy when I didn't reply to my own thread quickly. I don't visit these forums very often, maybe every 2 weeks, so yeah, not trying to "be a douche", I just have a busy life. Again, thank you for all of your suggestions. |

If I had $20K to Spend
I'd buy one of those I've already owned one, and I'll buy another one someday No need to reinvent the wheel Why mod a perfectly nice car When you can get the grandaddy of them all? http://www.cars.com/for-sale/searchr...MENT&pgId=2102

I would do what I did:
1. BBS Wheels - 5K 2. Akra Exhaust - 5.5K 3. Springs - $500 4. Crank Pulley - $500 5. Intake - $500 6. Tint, little touches, grill painting, etc.. $500 7. Tune and coding (from me of course!) - $1000 Oh wow still lots of money left, only one more mod makes sense.... 6. ESS SC! (this will negate the need for the tune above if you go this route). Coding still well worth it! Unless you wanted to make a really sweet N/A car and put a Brembo BBK on it / Further body mods, etc.. |
