Adding a fine little touch to my GTS lip

Update 4/6/12: Some pictures of the newly installed rear pin stripe!

This was only a quick 3 minute job just to get a feel of the style, inspired by Revinora GTS lip. The lip was applied using the 3M vinyl wrap I have left in my garage. I think the end result is great, and has a great contrast with the TE37 Time Attack.

Looks great, but from the first photo it doesn't look like the stripe is an even width. Measure and cut whatever width you want beforehand then apply the stripe to the lip. Looks great though. Try the same with an 1/8" stripe on the Performance spoiler. It's cheap and if you don't like it just remove it.

The reason for that is because the lip does not have a straight line up front. It's actually curved and thinner in the middle thus why making it difficult to line the vinyl up with the lip.

Thanks for the advise on the rear though, I will try to work on that.

Sounds like a good plan. But I am already running red RPI scoops so I will probably pass.

I will be doing an official shoot with proper lighting equipments (strobes) once the rear spoiler is finished.

I did this too, except mine is blue and my lip is Arkym! I wrapped the curb protector rings on my CH-Rs in blue vinyl pinstripe. I had to buy a roll of 150 feet so I figured I'd throw a stripe on my lip.

Mind sharing pictures of your setup? I can imagine it looks pretty stand out!

That is an awesome setup! Looks pretty clean with the IB altogether.

Makes me want to do an all AW setup lol...

Thanks! You could definitely try it. I used Cal-Stripes brnad pin striping which is high quality pin striping vinyl. They have about 30 different colors.

The color is a bit different than IB but I actually think it's better that it isn't an exact match. I wanted to reversibly change the rings on the CH-Rs so this $20 solution is pretty good IMO. And since I had the extra, I figured why not, like you said it took me 3 mins.

Now the question is, would it be too much if I had a stripe down the side of my Platte Forme A.G. skirts (not installed at the moment)?
