On Friday, June 17th - we opened our doors in collaboration with MFest to a friendly BBQ and dyno shootout, making for a casual event with good people, good food and fast BMWs.

AE Performance also showed up to offer a helping hand and show an overview of their M3 Performance Exhaust system as well as Akrapovic graciously providing their exhaust stand to display the M3 system along with new carbon tips being released shortly. At about 5pm, it was time to begin dynoing. With 16 cars already signed up - there was very little downtime in between cars. A number of supercharged M3s showed up, along with a Cobra SVT and Savini's own Murciélago to add to the lineup.

Results are as follows:



Jason's ESS equipped M3 pulled off a 550whp/354tq with a custom (and very loud) Arqray exhaust setup to set the bar high. Constantin's G-Power M3 ran into some boost issues - but will be back to the dyno soon with results from an earlier session posted.

Our own VF Supercharged M3 eventually took top HP honors cracking a 531hp 1st run, with subsequent 549hp and 551whp/363tq runs shortly thereafter.





















After a long night of runs, over 50lbs of beef and dyno after dyno - we finally wrapped up at about 3am with the last run. Good times were had by all. It was great seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones.

OK, for those who did not make the meet for whatever reason these pictures do not do any justice to how cool it is to kick it with the Mfest homies. Not just the Mfesters but you get to meet the sponsor hosting the event as well as other sponsors who come down to show there support. It's not always we get the chance to have EAS, VF, Savini, Republic Motorwekz, HH and yours truly in the same space.

nice numbers everyone....what happened to Jayare's E90 M3?....it's about 20+ rwhp less than the other E90 Ms with only a few mods off.

i'm still shocked at the numbers bro... i think this is STD correction factor also. don't know if they made my numbers higher or what but last time i did SAE correction so once Tom sends me the files, I can have them analyzed and all that good stuff

As far as I know... We both have the 5psi pulley. Only thing different I know of is my custom x-pipe and Arqray muffler.

I'd be interested to see what exhaust he is running. Possible it is hurting performance as those seem lower than stock?!?

One other amazing aspect...if 550wHp was developed with the vt535, then that kit is actually putting down around 650 HP at the crank!!

That's why I'd like to get the Dyno files analyzed and see what's really going on... It's odd cause last time I dyno'd prior to x-pipe install was around 476whp SAE. will report back with more info once I get those files and research a bit =)
