Start a new Thread - not a reply "message" to an existing Thread and attempt deleting it if you really want to see it not work. I feel like this conversation has gotten entirely too long for no apparent reason. Again, yes, we can all delete messages or replies using the edit feature.

Deleting individual posts/replies = allowed
Deleting a vBulletin Thread (aka. original "post") = not allowed
