Voice Control did not recognize "911"
![]() Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Voice Control did not recognize 911, or other emergency words. I had to dial it manually.

I don't know how your car's voice recognition works. For my 2013 car voice commands seemed listed in the manual (I never read them nor willing to check now: I hate voicing and I don't have it in my car). Yet, my previous 2010 smartphone could do voice searching in it's phone/address book (offline!). Thus, unless technology degraded
(my current 2019? smartphone feels primitive in some aspects by comparison ) you can add whatever number to you car's phone book, name it whatever you like and call that aloud. ![]() |
