M , Track Up/Down, Input Buttons Not Working

Title says it all. Was driving back from a meeting and tried to change from USB audio to Radio via the input button on the steering wheel and got nothing. Then tried M buttons and tracks up/down and got nothing. I know those buttons worked this morning on way to meeting.

Initial research points to clockspring. Apparently fragile ribbon wiring inside might have worn out? Left half of steering wheel and DCT paddles working.

Any thoughts?

Might just be a pinched cable for the right hand side button module. Open it up and take a look.

You pinched a cable. One time when I changed my steering wheel every up/downshift made the horn go off. Just undo and redo what you did.
