Nitron R1 Electron and full everything from Suspension Secrets

I know these Electron dampers (that plug into the EDC) are pretty new for E92 M3s.
Am I the first?

I've asked for a mostly road bias, even though I've gone solid everything, adjustable everything and includes H&R ARBs. Hope I haven't gone too far, eek.

I already have track cars, this was supposed to be a chill car... that didn't last long.

I don't remember seeing any E9X cars with Nitron, but that brand seems to be growing in popularity.

We are excited to hear how you like them.

I do not believe you are the first with a Nitron elec-tron R1 setup. Is this the Nitron OTS elec-tron R1 or OGSM custom elec-tron R1? If it’s the OGSM custom version, what spring rates did you select? An EDC version will try and damp out suspension motions so the suspension returns to its original equilibrium position more quickly.

However, Nitron also offers a standalone-controller DCU version that doesn’t require EDC and, IIRC, it has five damper settings with two of them being owner adjustable for pitch, roll and heave/bounce control; e.g., you could create one setting that is dialed in for your specific track preference and the second one for your personal compliant street setup or one is your personal performance selected street setup and the other being your personal selected compliant street setup. The three fixed setups are for different track setups. Unfortunately, this would require additional accelerometers, accelerometer installation kit, and the standalone DCU device.

To my knowledge, I'm expecting the EDC will have 3 pre-sets that can be cycled through as normal. I believe this "Electron" system only came to market for E92's a few months ago and I haven't read about anyone else fitting it to one yet.
I don't think it's the fully adaptive version with stand alone ECU that Nitron have also been developing (with marketing videos on an F80 M3)

I don't know spring rate to be honest, nor what geo settings they're going for - I'm just going with Suspension Secrets recommendations. Used those guys previously, with great results. I try to not get too involved with that kind of decision making really - I'd rather just tell the experts what I'm hoping to achieve and rely on their knowledge and expertise. I just drive the thing.

Suspension Secrets offers the Nitron OTS elec-tron R1 with two different sets of spring rates. The rear uses the stock divorced spring location. They should have asked you whether you wanted I”fast road” or “track” spring rates. OGSM/Inertia Lab offer

The EDC plug-n-play version uses semi-active dampers and each mode is controlled by BMW’s EDC control methodologies in comfort, sport and sport+; i.e., rebound damping coefficients change in real time and they are related to the amperage output. EAS and OGSM/Inertia Lab have been selling them for months in the US. No review posted to a forum doesn’t mean no one is using them. As examples, I did post a review of the MCS 2WRs that I had installed on my e92 M3 in 2014 and on my f82 in early 2016. I had nothing to post because I spent six months to one year going through spring rate selection testing.

Yeah SS did ask whether I wanted road or track set up. I've gone for road in this car, but I don't know what spring rates they're fitting
