How to get the latest updated software

So i am planning on getting the GIAC tune this week and i need to get the latest software update so it will make the tuning process quicker...What should i tell my dealer to try to get the new updated software? i have DCT and i am pretty sure my dealer never updated my car since i got her in march.

take it in complaining about CEl coming and going (tell him same problem i had a while back.. they updated me and i didn't know they were gonna do it until they were already done..
