Pics of Le Mans side-by-side with Interlagos?
Extremely hard to compare these colors online!
I'm trying to find examples of both colors in the Orlando area... Fields has me on their call list. Anyone at least have some pics of these two next to each other? Or even a tip on a dealership with one sitting around (preferably M3)?? All I had was a swatch of the actual paint (Interlagos) which I'd take into some sun and then run over to the shade. Unfortunately I didn't even have a Le Mans swatch to compare it with I'm leaning towards Interlagos, though it's difficult to imagine with a 4x6 color swatch or pics online from guys who've never heard of white balance before (you know who you are! lol).

I don't have any pics of an IB M3 next to a LMB M3, but...
Check this thread, see Post #20 for links to pics: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=198233

I think I'm settled on IB now. I love the broad variations that color has in different lighting conditions!
I'm still kicking around the idea of Space Gray though... just so I don't scream to cops "look at me!" whereever i go... I think I'd always regret not getting IB if I did though lol

The LeMans is more of a one dimensional color. The depth on Interlagos is what sold me on it.
I was tempted by Space Gray and Jerez, too, but then I remembered how every time I saw a blue R32 or S4/RS4 I regretted my color (and engine) choices on the A4 (black) and GTI (silverstone) we have.

Here's a picture of my M3 with Skierman64's SG M3, just so you can see the two side by side.

blue is nice, but I'm still debating if it is something I can live with everyday. I'm leaning toward black for the new m.
But I would go IB over lemans for sure. |

The first E92 M3 I drove was Interlagos Blue..
It was freshly waxed and on a bright sunny day.. the color was so vivid and beautiful and had so much depth to it you could gaze at it for hours Not to mention all the looks I got driving it around.. esp from the Blue/Gold STIs.. it was priceless I personally prefer to be more discrete (reason I got jerez) but IB is an AMAZING color.. you won't regret it

It really all comes down to if you like the purple hint in Interlagos or not. I have yet to get the chance to put my Le Mans blue next to an Interlagos, but I keep looking for the opportunity. Remember that most people have never seen Le Mans blue since it is only on the 2009s so it isn't as popular yet. I will post this one picture to try and sway you to Le Mans Blue :

This thread has been up for over a month and still no pictures of IB and LMB together. I'm beginning to think we don't see the two side-by-side for the same reason we never see Clark Kent and Superman together.

Interlagos is nicer IMO then Le Mans blue. I have seen both side by side at a local dealership.
Don't get space grey on the M, it looks very dull and will become a very common color in years to come. Get IB, Melbourne, Black, or White. White is VERY common, but there is a reason for that, its beautiful.

I don't have any pics that are high enough to show the roof from the front.
