Can't beat Amazon with free shipping. Just paid $$10.5/qt. for a case delivered.

ECS's pricing is good if you can get the free shipping ($200).

Amazon also has filters for about $14 as long as you don't mind using non-BMW ones (Wix, Mann, Mahle, Fram, etc).

Not a kit, but for oil - buy Liqui-Moly..

http://www.amazon.com/Liqui-Moly-202...+race+tech+gt1

x2 and you have an extra liter for $80 shipped. Filter and orings are are $15-20 (Part # 11427837997)

I guess it all depends on which oil you want to use. I get 2 five liter jugs of LiquiMoly for about $76 on ebay with free shipping and get my filter on Amazon, total cost is no more than $110.

The ECS "assembled kit" includes 9 quarts of TWS, a filter and drain plugs for $125 plus $32.59 tax and shipping. So, $157.59 all in.

On Amazon I paid $125.99 (plus $11.34) tax for 12 quarts, $21.47 for the Mann filter (no tax), I don't need drain plugs and I assembled all this by myself in 30 seconds. So, $158.80 all in.

Sorry ECS, but Amazon owns you.

$120.44 including shipping at: http://thebmwminipartstore.com/partl...?siteid=218365

That's for 9L of BMW 10w60 and a BMW oil filter. And they ship fast. Mine was sent out the same day as I ordered.

Can you provide the direct links to the oil and filter parts? I don't see oil listed when I select a 2011 M3.

Also, ECS's oil kit includes drain plugs. Is this something that is supposed to be changed with the oil? I'm about to do my first oil change on the car since my service warranty ended last year.

I'd probably get one set of extra plugs just in case one gets stripped while doing the oil change.

Oil (83212365944):http://thebmwminipartstore.com/parts...&siteid=218365

Filter (11427837997):http://thebmwminipartstore.com/parts...&siteid=218365

Unless you see a problem with your drain plugs, you can reuse them. Even if you add 2 drain plugs to the order, it's still cheaper and faster than ECS.

Just last week purchased like $300 worth of maintenance & miscellaneous stuff for my car, including the oil change kit. I didn't know about the thebmwminipartstore site, they have really good prices.
