Passive Go" module replacement
I needed to replace my "Passive Go" module and found no DIY'S so I decided to take a few pictures along the way to show exactly where it's located.
First remove cover for battery. Discount the negative battery terminal. Remove the center section of the trunk carpet. Remover the plastic cover at the rear of the trunk( it has two screws under plastic tabs and about 4 plastic clips on the front portion of the cover facing to front of the car). Next remove the wheel well liner/cover on the battery side ( bolt near the front of the trunk and the rest are clips. Once that's off pull down the padding to expose the white tray that hold 3 modules. There is 3 screws holding the tray in place ( the bottom one towards the front will be tricky to get to without removing the padding, but it can be done. One all 3 screws are out, pull straight back and then rotate towards the rear of the car. The one you want is the one that's in the very rear. Next un clip the wire harness and pull the locking tab the holds the module in the tray. Replace the module and put everything back in reverse order. No coding needed.
