M-DCT track downshift problem :-(
let me start with saying that I absolutely love M-DCT, however having been at HPDE's over the last couple of days (Infineon Raceway and Buttonwillow) there is a problem that I am just not able to live with...so here it goes:
When approaching a corner that requires hard barking and downshifting, the DCT refuses to shift down until you let go of the break, not a good thing and even than it is erratic. I was able to reproduce this behavior consistently, either from 3rd to 2nd or 4th to 3rd. This is unacceptable and makes the car useless for HPDE's unless you just want to cruise around the track. The car was in S5 everything set to Sport, Sport Plus, etc. MDM engaged. I am not sure if this problem persists if you switch DSC off since I assume that the computer might be seeing the downshift as a potential danger. Curious to know if anybody else has tracked their M-DCT and experienced the same behaviour? Please keep in mind that I really drove the car hard and that I only experienced this than... I will open another thread with pictures and videos of the 2 events :-)
