How should I swap the side gill stickers?

Hey guys, I couldnt find this anywhere in the forum under the DIY sub forum but I'm wondering how I can swap the side gill stickers? I have the monochrome side stickers on my side gills and I want to swap them with the OEM ones. I was told not to use a heat gun because it might curl the stickers. What should I do?

They're stickers... So take it off and stick the new one on.

Curl the stickers? Were you planning on reusing them?

I used a super sharp/thin exacto knife and pushed really slow under my old ones (they came off with the adhesive) once they were off I just stuck them on the new matte gills... And they look perfect, u have to be careful though when doing this.

dont mean to thread jack but where do u get new stickers OEM kind? got new housings for the light but no new stickers came with them=( is it ok to reuse the ones off the stock ones and put super glue or something on back?

I wonder if using a heat gun or blow dryer for a little bit of time prior to removal would help loosen up the adhesive and the sticker to come off easier...

gene, you have a point, but don't forget that the heatgun can also melt it. best thing is, take it off after the car has been driven, it should be warm enough.

i used a hairdryer and butter knife and worked perfectly

Cool thanks i used a blowdryer, and a small razor and it came off no problem i used epoxy to re attach it to the new Gills=)
