Smile DCT steering wheel, Coby wrapped in Black Alcantara, tricolor stitch, w/ trim cover

Item Interest
Up for sale is an OEM DCT steering wheel, wrapped by Cobywheel. I had it custom wrapped, as close as possible to OEM specs (what Cobywheel calls Regular, not their Thick version). The trim cover is included in the sale.

Black Alcantara, no stripe, no extra thickening, tri-color stitching. I never mounted it on the car, condition is as I got it back from Cobywheel. Work is fantastic and the reason for sale is that I might sell the garage queen, thus no need for an extra wheel.

I purchased the wheel here for this specific project: https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2155073
It was in fantastic condition, check the photos for yourself.

Info about Cobywheel: https://cobywheel.com/e90-regular-sp...ing-wheel.html

Asking $500 and I will cover insured shipping with signature required to the CONUS. Tons of feedback as a seller on Ebay (20+ years) and on Fred Miranda photographic equipment forum, happy to share if requested.

Thanks for looking!

Yes, $265 is the price listed by Gobby Wheel for the rewrap itself, before round-trip shipping. Their website also states: “After entering your order, we will send you an invoice for the core exchange deposit of $250.00.”

Mine is a complete OEM steering wheel, freshly rewrapped and never installed since the work was completed. It was built on a super-clean wheel and includes the center trim. It is ready to install, making it a good option for someone who either does not have a sufficiently clean core or would like to keep a second wheel. Insured shipping is also included in my asking price.

Just wanted to clarify exactly what is included in the price.

I assume it is genuine, and I see no reason to believe otherwise. It is the trim that came with the steering wheel when I bought it—see the forum purchase link above. Based on the fitment alone—it sits perfectly on the wheel, and all the tabs engage exactly as they should—I am confident that it is genuine. It would be very unlikely for an aftermarket plastic piece to fit this precisely.

Since you asked, however, I have just removed it and photographed it from several angles so that you can get a complete picture of its condition.

The link contains the photos I just took, turning the trim toward the light so that the finish marks and minor signs of use are clearly visible. Once installed in the car, where it sits at a fixed angle, I doubt anyone would notice any of them. They are purely superficial imperfections in the finish, not actual scratches.
