Ceramic coating wheels

What are your preferences on ceramic coats on wheels? I just pick up a new set of wheels and would like to get them coded, but not exactly sure which brand I should get. I’d really like to enhance the shine of the satin black.
Thanks 🍻

From all the tests and reviews I have read and watched, Adam's Graphene seems to be the top performer.

I haven't tried it yet, but application seems fairly standard for the better rated ceramic coatings.

Based on my personal experiences with a few Wheels Coats, the coating will change the appearance of the wheels a little bit (most colors wheels will turn slightly darker). Definitely more slick and shiny!
However, that will pretty gonna after driving around the block a few times and covered in brake dusts!
To me, the main benefit of coating the wheels is to help with cleaning!

Be careful when ceramic coating wheels - do not coat the inner barrel. Wheel weights will not stick anymore. I've had wheel weights fly off when driving.

Some say to ceramic coat the barrel after tires and weights are mounted. But this just pushes the problem to a later time because the weights will change position when you change tires and you will encounter the same issues.

That’s a really good point. That could be a pain in the ass.🤣

I use Armour Detail Supply Wheel coating. I coat the inside of the barrels right after wheels are mounted. By the time the tire is done and a new one is mounted, the coating has worn down enough where a new wheel weight sticks. Been doing this for years, tens of thousands of miles and dozens of track weekends no issue.

Here is the link that I used for my car and wheels. I ceramic coated the the wheel barrels and face after the tires were mounted and balanced. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D4NM5XM...sin_title&th=1

You can certainly ceramic coat the barrels and then balance. You would want to use aluminum weight tape though.

Or just ceramic coat the faces and then after balancing do the barrels.

Personally I use Carpro Dlux.

I've used Gyeon RIM Evo on a few sets of wheels with great results.
