For sale is an Evolve xpipe in great condition. Only selling because I decided to go fully catless. The xpipe has 200 cell cats and a pair of resonators.

How loud and smelly is your car fully catless? Do you know if using this xpipe alone will throw a cel, with no other mods? I'm local, If you're flexible on price I'm interested and can pick up.

I’m pretty sure any exhaust without primary cats will throw a cel. I just changed my x pipe that had only a resonator to this exact settup but with akrapovic. The exhaust smelled with just resonators and the car becomes very very raspy. A huge factor is your catback as well. I think the only exhaust that doesn’t rasp too much is the dinan exhaust which gives you a nice deep tone but I find it slightly restrictive. Right now I’m running Akra evo with meisterschaft GT2. Some might find it very loud (which it is) but much more tame than just having a resonator.

Yes

And yes this xpipe will cause a CEL without a tune. I think that will happen anytime you remove the primary cats.

I’m running an Epic Motorsports tune which removes it, but I think most tunes would do the same.

What are those clamps for above the cats? The photos on Evolve’s site show the x-pipe as one solid piece.

Look again. They’ve gone to a super sprint type configuration where the clamp is behind the secondary cat.
