Dinan D550-1005 shifter play in bearing cup?! New order
Thought I would be getting a solid piece of engineering with the reputation Dinan has… or had? This just doesn’t seem right, maybe it is though??
I ordered a short shift kit for the e90 and I’m concerned that the QC from the factory may have missed this… or maybe it’s something you can explain and is necessary? I assume that a ‘precision machined billet’ piece like this would be free of any play in a shifter. I have been waiting weeks for these parts so I’m a little frustrated that when I finally had the time to take out my old shifter, I’m looking at this 🥲 hopefully I can get an answer or replacement ASAP Any thoughts on this? I have sent to tech support at dinan & DMed Dinan_Engineering here Thank you! Daniel |
