Help - 2010 e90 m3 km and pricing?
Hey all,
New to this forum but I was hoping to get some insight on whether I am about to get a bargain or make a mistake. Currently have a blacked out 320d m sport f30 - this car made me fall in love with bimmers. Its a 4 banger diesel, more fuel efficient than taking the bus but still sporty enough with the handling to have some fun on the weekends. Currently clocking in around 130,000km on the odo, I don't think its gonna have any issues any time soon and I was planning on running it into the ground, but as always I'm lusting after more power. I think my only real options are either to get a tune or sell it and upgrade. Fuel efficiency isn't a thought anymore as I've moved into a job where I don't need to drive 100km a day, so more powahhhh is what I'm after. I've been looking around and I'm really drawn to the e90 platform. Found a listing for a black 2010 (MY11) M3 E90 DCT with 208,000km for $34,999 AUD (also yeah I'm in Australia). Its a private sale due to moving interstate, so they would be negotiable but I'm sure not by much judging by the current market. I am just so damn drawn to the v8 and it has a flawless interior for a 14 year old car - either it was well looked after or they found a miracle detailer. It is 3,000km drive away but its actually the same trip I took to get my 320d - just with the v8 fuel efficiency I think I'll spend twice as much on fuel this time around. Any advice would be so very appreciated. |

Seems a bit over priced to me, but maybe not too far off if the car is extremely good cosmetically, especially if it has had a decent amount of preventitive maintenance carried out.
For context, I just paid $17500 NZD for a 2011 E90 M3 comp pack, but it has 280,000km, and it's in the sort of condition that you would expect for that many km. It's pretty ratty, but all fixable. I have also been watching these cars for the last 8 years or so and this one just seemed too cheap to pass up. I expected it to go for mid to low $20k |
Appreciate
