ACM | Melbourne Red shop car with headers on the Dyno
After months of having the ESS VT-2 supercharger on the car, we knew there was still more we could get out of this setup. It has been said that the stock headers are high flowing and not restrictive; therefore minimal gains if any would be made with aftermarket headers on a N/A S65. However, this wasn't proven on a supercharged car so we decided to change that. We picked up a set of Schmiedmann Headers to be paired with the full Akrapovic GT4 exhaust. Today's dyno run had put down 548 wheel horsepower number proving a gain of 18 wheel horsepower from the headers.
The baseline run we did a few months ago before the headers put down 530 wheel horsepower. Here is the comparison of the Schmiedmann Headers(Left) vs Stock(Right) We installed them with the block in the car. Full Akra GT4 blued, man we love Titanium! Best dyno run put down 548 wheel horsepower |

We'll be putting together a gopro video of the setup soon.
Much louder? No. The tone slightly changed to a more exotic, throaty nature. Overall- extremely happy with the product (fit, finish and fitment) and the end result |

Unfortunately, no - the town won't let us have one. Conveniently the next town over has a shop called Pilkington's and they have the dyno. It's a 5 minute drive over! We're gonna be holding a dyno day over there with those guys, they have some cool muscle cars over there too. We'll post up details in the regional section for the dyno day.

Since these were the first we've done there was a slight learning curve. Take into account roughly 20 hours. Subframe needs to be lowered and hands need to be abused
We're expecting a few sets within a week or so |
