Very cool. I have such fond memories in one way or another of all of them. What great cars. Pretty impressive family tree!

I don't see evolution here...they're all still viable today in their own right.
It's funny how there's no F30...that's what they get for giving the M3 a different body code. I can't believe they already exhausted the F-series and moved to the G-series in just one generation. |

My E36 felt like I could keep that thing forever as a classic. My E46 felt like I could keep that thing for 50 years as a classic. My E90 feels like after 5 years I wouldn't want to be caught sat in it. The F30 owners are probably looking at new cars right now. FACT: The way an E30 or 2002 looks to us in 2016 is not going to be the way an F30 look to people in 10 years!!!

In terms of maintenance and style and ease of DIY'ing repairs and upkeep. That triple twin quadruple turbo, tech stuff and over-engineered design is cool and all but at the end of the day most driving enthusiasts just want a simple motor is a simple car that is built to move like a cheetah and look like a lion.

Really cool video, it had me counting how many I've had. I now realized the E46 chassis must have been my favorite because it's the only chassis I bought twice.
