Returning single 271B error?

Car was left in garage for a few month and recently swapped out battery since the old one died.

NOT RB ISSUE YOU MONSTERS! RB DONE BY deansbimmer LAST YEAR!

During the first drive after battery change, I got 2B13-speed detection and 271B-VAnoS control outlet bank 1 errors for the engine. Cleared the code and 2B13 went away, but 271B came back when I pulled code from Carly the next day. (Also have an A0C1 code maybe related to starter, but I don't think these two are related. )

However while I was driving, I did not have any error on instrument panel, or any noticeable abnormality with the engine, so not sure what it means if the 271B kept on coming back but no other visible symptoms or instrument error messages. Anyone had this before?

did you try swapping solenoids and clearing faults and seeing if it follows solenoid?

Not yet, waiting for a friend with more professional ECU reading tool to come back in town to pull some more data, and try the swap method.

Also looking at solenoid replacement cost and options, remember seeing some around $100 something before, but all the OEM ones are around $300 each. Maybe I was looking at the wrong forum..

Any updates on this issue? Did you end up having to replace the solenoid or was cleaning it sufficient?
