Update

So bought and installed these during a rod bearing job and I was hesitant because of the price even though I knew it meant I would never have to replace them again...Once I got the car back I couldn't tell the difference which was perfect! I did not use the insert pins to stiffen them further.

I'm doing my rod bearings soon and have been curious about these too. Wondering if they really last much longer than oem mounts. How have they been since the install?

I am seriously considering PowerFlex engine mount. Do you feel any vibration during idle?

They have been very good I highly recommend them! As far as extra cabin vibrations I would say very very minimal on the standard side.[pins out]. I had to sit in my car at idle and just stare at the gear shifter and listen for pulsing or build up and I found none. I convinced myself the car was always the same since I got it. I do not think you would ever need to put the pins in on a street car, vibrations might become noticable then....oh yea and while 400 is steep we can consider these truly lifetime.

Great! Thanks for the positive review I'm really looking forward to having these in. I wasn't planning on changing my mounts every 30-50k miles on a street car lol.

Any new feedback or long-term review on these mounts? About to pull the trigger soon cos my Vibra-technics mounts just died on me after 9k kms. Same failure mode as Mobbin experienced.

Have had them in my car for 15k miles already and still love them since day 1. I don’t have any of the inserts placed, and is comfortable for daily driving. There is slightly more vibration at idle but is tolerable. Other than that, feels great while driving!

Thanks! Powerflex mounts ordered! Do you remember what spec you torqued them to?

Nice! Pretty sure they were tightened to about 41 ft lbs (56 Nm). I don’t recall the mounts came with instructions to tighten to a different spec other than the oem mounts. Hope you enjoy them!

Redd, can you please give some feedback on these, I am about to pull the trigger and wanted to get some more feedback. Did you install any of the pins?

I installed them without any pins since the car is a daily driver. Without pins they are about the same stiffness as new Vibra-technics mounts. There will be a wee bit more vibration at idle, but you gotta be looking out for it to notice it. I don't really notice it much as my car is on stiffer bushes and I have a loud exhaust so the car already makes a lot of noise. When driving there is no NVH.

I've only had them in for about 6k kms so can't give a long term review beyond that. I did open up the PF mounts to inspect them and they are easily serviceable. I also confirmed with PF that they will provide replacement parts and come with a lifetime warranty.

Thanks, I just ordered a set.

Mine have been on for 5+ years with zero issues. They raise the engine by about a 0.10” compared to stock. Karbonius ///M V8 version clears the hood without contact.
