E92/E93 M3 hoods are not the same.

If you've tried looking for E90 M3 hoods specifically, you will know how difficult it is to find one used.

There are vents cut out and riveted on either side, as well as a good amount of rock chips towards the front of the hood. Price reflects this.

mym3adventures curious...considering this mod, appreciate any insights on questions.

• What is the hood louver kit/manufacturer installed?
• What/how does water intrusion into engine compartment as a daily driver fair?

Unfortunately, I don't know the details of the vents since the previous owner had them installed.

For my use case, it's a weekend car that sits in the garage most of the time so I can't speak to any water intrusion issues. However, generally speaking, I'd assume these are modern enough cars that are designed/engineered to withstand some water - I see a good amount of professionals do engine cleaning/spraying on these cars
