The kit came with 2 remotes so I carry the extra one in the trunk just in case.

it sounds like the cheetah is pretty reliable... it would be nice to have a wireless system like this without having to hack through the firewall... i like the idea a lot. i am actually thinking of getting laser interceptor... maybe i should look into the possibility of getting the cheetah to work with LI.
