If you are going with Porsche, I'd strongly suggest a 997 turbo or an '09 or later model year "regular" 997.2(S) (4S).
Why?
Direct injection.
The 997.2 has roughly 40% fewer moving parts.
does NOT have an intermediate shaft, which was a weak point in the 997.1 engines which sometimes led to catrostrophic engine failures.
The 997.2 is a considerably better car.
