setting aside the fact that sound systems are heavy as sin, bumping bass so hard that the guy 5 cars behind you can hear it just doesn't make sense. Even if you have the cleanest system on the planet with no THD (impossible) it doesn't need to be that loud, especially not at the cost of all that weight.

these days, i take the upgraded OEM sound system, and love it.

I agree with you. We have also gotten older and wiser. Most kids do this and it goes back to the early 1990s.

OP don't do it.
