So salt is on the roads and I’m doing valve cover gaskets and while I’m in there I will have the injector harness disconnected and since that’s 1/3 of the way to the injectors coming out, wondering if there is a while I’m in there benefit to sending them off to be tested and cleaned at 104,000 miles (3/08 build).

Sooooo anybody pulled these and found lazy injectors once they get up in age? Any service shops that do a particularly good job?

Could be a waste of time but with occasional fail-open injector cylinder kerblammos on this engine family figured I’d check and see if anyone has an anecdote or two to share
