Yes, we got it through a third party. Had it checked out about two days before purchasing it. Only problem with the car was a leaky transmission pan but wasn't necessary for about 8-10k miles. The car was so perfect that both the technician who did the pre-purchase examination and the service manager wanted to buy it. It was really astonishing that a 10 year old M3 with only 63k miles would break without any indication. But all is good now and the car is better than ever. Can't wait for the rod bearings to go out
