I think you can wear them down to 3-4mm. The idrive "estimate" kind of works for street use, but it's not accurate for track driving--meaning you can see thousands of miles being dropped in a single session depending on what you are doing. If you only have 10000 street miles on your stock pads, my guess is that you should be fine, but I strongly suggest you get some proper track pads anyway--especially if you will be using track rubber. You don't want to end up with vibrations on your pedal for 3-4 weeks after your track day...
