Simple fix, don't wave anyone on. Follow the rules. No need to let someone go before you if you follow the rules. I always laugh at people that wave me on when I have the right of way. "Thanks, I needed you to let me know if was my turn because apparently I don't understand the rules and needed the 4-way stop hall monitor to let me know how things work."
Yeah man, don't be that guy. If someone doesn't understand the law, let them figure it out. Waving them on isn't going to make them suddenly understand or remember and those that know the laws don't need you to do it.
