The PS2's run around $2k for a set of tires. Seems there are nice choices for around $1100 in 18".
Any opinions?

If the idea is to track with 18" but keep the 19" for just city/highway driving then the General UHP 19" tires are a great choice, IMO. The are not as sticky as the PS2 but they do stick and handle above average for a high performance summer tire (I don't think that it is a proper
Ultra high performance as its name implies), almost inmune to hydroplaning, quiet, and they last 20,000+ miles without any effort.
And they are cheap.
I'll be doing the same... a set of OEM 18" for the track -with RE-11 tires- and the 19" with my current UHP tires.
