Did you ever get to the bottom of this? I'm having the same problem. Oil sensor showed "Add 1 qt" after about 40 miles of sustained highway speeds. After stopping for 5 minutes, oil level was back at "max". Then after 10 more miles of highway driving, I was back at "Add 1 qt". I just bought the car and had an oil change done about 200 miles ago... if I were already a quart low, I feel like I would be able to see a pretty major oil leak.
