17.3 millions is a piece of cake to them when you compare that to a leaky trunk that costed BMW 475 million dollars. You can read the thread

As much as many people don't see any lights at the end of tunnel, I am actually rather optimistic about this. This surely isn't the first time BMW screwed up, and it certainly wouldn't be the last time that they settle for the mess-up that they created.
