I don’t remember the side by side comparison. And I’m not a brake expert to say it’s normal, but I can tell you mine feel just like you describe. It could be because the with OE brakes you’re filling 4 cylinders with fluid to stop but now you’re filling 20 cylinders with fluid to stop. More pedal more brake fluid
