I had my thrust arm replaced by a local shop yesterday and thought I'd take a look at their work. Seems the lower control arm took a hit when removing the thrust arm. I am not sure whether these are hammer hits or some deep scratches from a ball joint removal tool, but it doesn't look great imo.
They also sprayed some copper grease all over the spindle which I don't like.
Question is how serious can this be for the ball joint and does the control arm need replacing, I am not sure how hard should I pressure them to cover the cost of a new part.
