I've tried reversing the gasket on the cap...cleaning it and putting back on. That didn't work, so I tried to take the same cap and gasket and grease it with clean oil. Also didn't work.

Now I ordered the updated cap as my original was the older version. Tried the same methods as above...installed dry and new...still leaks. Then greased the gasket and reinstalled...still leaks.

Is this just something you guys are living with or is there something else I can try? In all my searching, these things seemed to work for others.

Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated!
Sounds like the problem isn't with the cap, but with the valve cover. If the metal against which the gasket on the cap isn't completely flat oil is going to leak from there. Mine has never leaked a drop.
