Oh please....spare me. Like we all have a track next to our house that we just hop onto after work for a couple of laps. I drive 90-100mph almost every day. You just have to know have to do it properly and safely. I have been driving for over 30 years and have never come even remotely close to being in a speed related accident, so I believe my thinking and driving habits have stood the ultimate test of time.
And please don't get me started on "the law", etc, etc, etc.
