The electric steering system in the new 911 is a bit numb but gets better at higher speeds. I was about to buy the cayman r but came to my senses just in time. I would suggest a 997.2 911s or gts. Those cars have amazing steering feel that tops any cayman and are very comfortable to live with on a daily basis. You can get pretty good deals on them these days. I got a CPO Second generation 911 s for 70k with very low miles. It's very fast and sits very low and handles amazing with sport suspension +.
