I drove a GTi with DSG about 18 months ago. I was smittten with the DSG gearbox but waiting waiting for another manufacturer to adopt it to a more up-scale car and viola the M3 comes along and I get one of the first DCTs in the country.
I wonder if Audi had put one in the S5 maybe I would have got that?

It's coming in the S5 but not until the S4 gets it first. I reckon you will be pleasantly surprised as to how good the new 7sp DSG will be, I know others here might know more about what Audi will be doing and when things will appear but according to a guy I know from VAG the new gearbox will be the very best available, but then he would say that.
