A few years ago, I replaced the battery myself on my iphone 5 for $12 USD. A couple months later, Apple issued a recall on the battery even though the phone was out of warranty, but I had already replaced it myself, otherwise it would have been free. |
I make my money with my head. This was cheaper than attempting it myself and needing to buy a brand new phone
