Yes, 1200 mile service should be FOC, outrageous if some dealers are charging £500!
Also, as you have a DCT, then THEY MUST
NOT CHANGE THE TRANSMISSION FLUID at this service. A quick search through the main M3 forum page will show some of the early DCT cars (in the US), having the wrong transmission fluid replaced in the DCT... people ended up needing a new gear box. The official word is that the DCT transmission fluid is not to be replaced at the 1200mile service - it's meant to be a lifetime fluid or something. It will be worth mentioning it when you take your car in.
