OP, similarly, I recently drove a Gallardo, this one, as a matter of fact:

It was very raw, as well....*loved* the sound of the engine behind me, and it accelerated deliciously, but....... I like my M3 more. Sure, the sheer performance numbers are staggering, but after the s/c, those numbers won't be so lofty. Not hating on the Gallardo, but I'd rather have the M.
Now if the Lambo was the TT variant, that would be another story altogether *lol*
