Can confirm. Blew through HC+ at Laguna Seca and got towed out last year. Was silly and didn't bring extra pads. Was using backing plates as my pads. This was even with a 380mm/355mm BBK F&R.
PMU 999 have lasted longer for me - but I just realized I posted the same story in this thread, back in January
