Sometimes Carfax/Autocheck reports get info late. Some don't go through insurance. Like my 335i, when I bought it, it had a clear Carfax...then a year and a half into having it, an "accident" was listed ... which only amounted to minor front bumper damage. I realized this is the reason why my Sport package 335 came with a M Sport front bumper and not the god awful base model bumper ... win for me.

Hell, I just bought a 2010 E92 M3 with 82K miles ... Prem, Tech and CW package, M button, EDC, more, all that for $17,500. Dealer says nothing is wrong with it of course. Come to find out, the DCT needs the oil pan and mechatronics replaced...First response was to be annoyed...then I realized even with the $1100 repair, I still have a 2010 E92 M3 for 18,600 lol.
