I had a 2009 M3 which I installed an ESS VT2-625 kit. The car had about 65k miles. I then sold the car and purchased a 2010 M3 with 12.5K miles and installed a Harrop Kit.

Yes, the Harrop was slightly more expensive but I have to say the benefit in overall driving experience is worth every penny. The car has a much lower power band with more 'driveable' power in lower RPM ranges below 5-6K. The build quality of the Harrop kit is a thing of beauty; truly OEM quality. I am a mechanical engineer, so I really appreciate the attention to detail on the kit and the effort they invested to integrate the kit in OEM form keeping the airbox in place.

The whine makes the car sound plain mean and it turns heads everywhere. It is not overpowering at lower RPM, but get the car above 5K and it sounds like a jet😜.

Special thanks to Mike Benvo at BPM sport for all the great support and an awesome out of the box tuning package!
