Exterior: Sparkling Graphite (rare and only available in '08).

Interior: Silverstone leather.

Carbon Roof and 6-speed manual.

Reason for sale: just picked this up, but I am moving in the summer for work and need to make space.
Carfax: Clean (no accidents, damage, etc.)
Title: Clean title, no liens
Rust: None - Texas and Virginia car originally (just brought over to Chicago and always garaged)
Rod bearings: done with receipts and old bearings
Throttle actuators: done at the dealer with receipts to prove
Modifications: 19-inch lightweight Advan Racing wheels (mean stance with no spacers), aluminum Turner Motorsport undertray, test pipes (causes check engine light since nothing was coded), 2 piece brake rotors, stainless steel lines, afe intake, tints
Gas mileage: phenomenal for e92 m3, best I ever got out of these planforms. 22.3 MPG on the highway at 80-90mph with no AC on my road trip

Maintenance below (religiously serviced by 1st owner and previous as seen below):

- 66k miles - spark plugs, throttle actuators, valve cover gaskets round 1
- 78k miles - airbag recall
- 83k miles - new center driveshaft, windshield washer fluid pump
-92k miles - blower motor recall
- ~100k miles - BE rod bearings, ARP bolts, ground cables, power steering flush, engine mounts, brake flush, temp sensor, thermostat, all thermostat o-rings, oil level sender, diff flush, trans flush (FYI: have the old rod bearings, RRT stated that this car was never abused or driven hard. Car has ALWAYS been properly brought up to temperature before any spirited driving)
- ~100k miles - new fuel tank and hardware (PO damaged the tank on the highway - no other damage anywhere else. Went through his service plan)
- 105k miles - positive battery cable replaced, valve cover gaskets 2 and covers powder coated black at the time
- 115k miles - oil filter housing (big job on these), new belts, all tensioners, water pump, all coolant lines, coolant flush
- ~125k miles - front 2-piece rotors, stainless steel lines, aggressive pads, brake fluid
- ~125k miles - new front suspension (all arms and links)
-135k miles - radiator, electric fan (big $$$), coolant flush
-148k miles - brand new Continental Extreme Contact Summer tires (255/35 ZR 19 fronts, 285/35 ZR19 rears)
-152k miles - carbon roof professionally refinished, new rubber trim around windows (front and back), trunk button, steering wheel trim, EDC button module ($250), cabin filters, wipers, hood struts, trunk struts, full AC service with new freon and Behr AC compressor oil (system holds vacuum well), sourced steering wheel and interior from a very low mileage car which is absolutely mint.

Cons:
- small leak from steering rack pinion seal ($50 dollar seal plus 3 hrs of your time —> read more about it here. https://www.m3post.com/forums/showth...=997073&page=2)

- check engine on due to test pipes (no issues at all just 'increased emissions warning' since car is not tuned)

- headliner sag (quoted $300 locally)
