A Z06 on cup tires can achieve stupendous speeds on many tracks and should anything go wrong at over 160mph in a street car without proper safety gear, you will most likely die.
One of the reasons I don't really want to "step up" from the M3's level of performance has to do with the speeds achievable on track.
Not to mention that to drive the Z06 around daily, you'd need to swap to regular street tires anyway...
