I don't get this, to me the yellowing looks like what happens to Epoxy resin with UV exposure. Epoxy doesn't have any UV protection and automotive clear does. Why wouldn't or diddnt they slam a few layers of polyurethane clear on it? Epoxy and carbon is not new technology, even at the time our cars were built.

But to me doing the clear in stages like the shop did on your car is the only way to do it.
The did initially just remove the clear and re cleared it. Looked yellowish. I did some research on the forums and told the shop to remove the yellow and then re clear
