It's not that simple. My car is at the body shop now having it done. They used a razor blade to get the layer that is peeling off and then need to sand it down a bit and then apply several coats of clear. To do it right you need to remove the windshield and back glass. Most likely the seals are around both are cracked/broken and need to be replaced when they put the glass back in.

Sounds like they over complicated it big time. I don't see why they would use a razor blade to remove the gel coat as it peels off easily once it's chipped? Front and rear windshields don't need to be removed. Perhaps the weather stripping. You shouldn't need to sand the carbon fiber before applying clear either otherwise you run the risk of damaging the weave. I basically did exactly what the other comment did and it came out like new.
