I'll add that many vendors do not ship to APO/PO box because they strictly use UPS/FedEx accounts for shipping, which didn't ship directly to those addresses through their normal programs. They do now however with their new SmartPost/Surepost services which hand off to the USPS for final delivery.
For businesses, USPS is usually more costly and tedious to deal with than UPS/FedEx. Not all vendors use them.
